Drinking enough water and washing the face at least twice with water can change the game for you. Drinking water helps to detoxify the body and prevents the toxins that cause acne in the body. Drinking at least 6 glasses of water or 2 bottles is highly recommended for people facing acne and pimple issues as it helps in better blood circulation that clears the skin.
Washing the face at least twice a day and bathing after every physical activity is essential for the removal of excessive oils and germs caused by sweat on the body.
Eating healthy food items and preventing the junk and oily food that comes out in the forms of pimples and acne is very important. You should avoid the maida items that attract you toward themselves like kulcha, momos, noodles, etc. Opt for whole wheat products like wheat bread, oatmeal pasta, and whole wheat noodles. Replace sweets and candies with fruits that provide sufficient vitamins and iron like apples, oranges, etc.
Turmeric is known to remove blemishes and redness from the skin. It acts as an antibacterial agent and contains anti-acne properties. Also, lactic acid would help in preventing acne and pimples as well. So, mix 2-3 pinches of turmeric with 2 spoons of sour yogurt and put it with a brush. Leave the pack for 15 minutes and wash it off with warm water for a smooth finish. Use it regularly for the best results.
