Most of us are addicted to that morning coffee that wakes us up more than any alarm. It charges our brain cells and keeps us going every day. We entertain no excuse for coffee, a cup of hot cappuccino for winters while an iced latte for summers awaits us. Well, it is not limited to being a wake-up drink. It acts as a brain opener along with being an eye-opener, though not literally. We might come across many hot coffee brews but nothing matches the level of satisfaction and refreshment that cold coffee offers.
So, let’s have a look at some of the easiest recipes to prepare our favorite cold coffee:
Iced Latte
We are all aware of the iced lattes offered by luxurious labels like Cafe Coffee Day and Starbucks. But, have you tried making the exact latte at home using just a few easily available materials? All you need is 2 tsp instant powdered coffee, 1 cup of whole milk, 2 tsp sugar, ice cubes, and 1/2 cup of water. In a glass jar, add instant coffee along with sugar and vanilla essence (optional). Then, microwave the water for a minute, pour it into the jar, and stir. Mix the coffee with chilled water(1/2 cup) and blend to combine.
Finally, add milk of choice and stir until combined. You can top it with chocolate sauce and cocoa powder. Serve with a straw and enjoy.
Dalgona
These days, many people are fascinated and sharing pictures of Dalgona coffee on the internet. If you are one of them, all you need is 2 tsp coffee powder, 2 tsp sugar, 2 tsp boiling water, 1 cup cold milk, and a few ice cubes. In a small bowl, mix the powdered coffee, sugar, and hot water. Use a blender to make a creamy frosting and make sure that the color keeps getting lighter. Pour the cold milk into a beautiful glass for the internet and add ice cubes. Top it up with the frosting and serve chilled. You can also store your frosting in a jar and refrigerate it for regular use.
