Amidst the overutilization of resources like paper and steel, it is very important to recycle and utilize waste into something useful. It is much better to create decorative stuff rather than buying expensive ones.
Let’s look at some unique ways that can bring out the best in waste-
Bag out of old jeans
A pair of jeans is a part of everyone’s routine but it does not last long due to the size issues and daily use. Instead of throwing it away, how about utilizing it for a whole new bag? Firstly, cut the legs off with sharp scissors and make sure it is even. Cut off the seam too, so that it opens up completely. Sew the sides and the bottom ends for a proper rectangular shape. Switch to the jeans legs you cut off earlier for the handles. Cut 2-inch wide strips from each of the jeans legs and sew the side edges to make them stronger. Sew the handles through the inside of the bag and your bag is ready.
DIY Decor from an Egg Carton
All you need is a waste egg carton that you were about to throw, a string of LED lights, paints, and a pair of scissors. Firstly, cut off the egg cups from the egg tray and paint the cups inside out. Cut the top of the cups in the shape of flowers and plug-in LED lights in the middle of each cup. Assemble the flower cups in a thermocol through pins and attach them through electricity. You can light the beautiful lamp in your room.
Pen Holder from Bangles
Our mother surely has those old bangles that they haven’t worn in a while and they have left their shine. Also, we all need one place for our pens and other stationery items that keep messing our rooms. All you need is an old CD and some old bangles. Attach a bangle on the old CD and keep sticking the other bangles on top of that bangle until it forms a huge even holder. Your creative pen holder is ready to assemble everything.
